The Concerned Veterans for America Foundation is helping veterans be “healthier, wealthier and more prosperous,” CVA Foundation Project Manager John Byrnes said in a recent interview with Connecting Vets.
Byrnes shared the CVA Foundation mission to help veterans live successful lives after military service and become advocates for freedom as civilians. As a veteran himself, Byrnes has gone through the challenges that come with taking off the uniform. He’s now using those experiences and knowledge to help other veterans navigate their return to civilian life through the CVA Foundation.
But it’s not just about succeeding as individuals. The CVA Foundation believes that “veterans are the best ambassadors this country has for freedom,” Byrnes said. That means understanding the rights and freedoms they sacrificed to defend and learning how to advocate for those freedoms as civilians.
